The Macallan - Peter Blake

I shot this tabletop piece for The Macallan with Peter Blake, produced by Content Films, and it was one of those projects where the craft had to match the subject. We went Alexa Mini with Zeiss Super Speed glass, which gave us that clean, controlled look you need when you're working at this scale. Tabletop work demands precision, honestly, because there's nowhere to hide, and every light, every focus pull, every micro-movement gets scrutinized. The brief was straightforward but the execution required patience and a lot of test shots to nail the right mood for the spirit itself. Working with Blake's eye for detail meant we could push the image without it feeling overdone. It's the kind of shoot where you're grateful for reliable gear and the time to get it right.
