Dominos American Legend

For the Dominos American Legend tabletop commercial, I shot on Alexa Mini with Cooke Anamorphics, working under director Martin Jalfen at Finesse. The brief called for packshot work that felt cinematic rather than flat, so the anamorphic glass gave us that subtle compression and character you need when you're selling food at scale. I handled 2nd unit and packshot direction with Adrian Egea as 2nd unit director, which meant we could push the lighting and composition without losing the hero product's integrity. The constraint of anamorphic on tabletop is real, you're working closer than you'd think, but that's where the discipline lives. Every frame had to earn its place. It's straightforward work in theory, harder in practice when the client wants both technical precision and a little soul in the frame.
